With a relentless curiosity and fascination with glass, last year Lois took a basic glass blowing class but unfortunately decided it was too labor intensive and difficult at this point in her life. But the fused glass studio was next door and she loved the possibilities. Each time she enters the studio she calls it Jazz, which is to say, improvisation-never knowing what will be the end result. She never plans a project in advance but let’s bits and pieces left over from other work inspire her and each project unfolds in a unique way. It’s become a very freeing and totally joyful creative time for her artistic journey.
